The Pumpkin Patch Mess is always looking for new and dedicated members who are willing to work together with the rest of the mess. The PPM does not discriminate on any factor, other than historical accuracy. If you cannot accurately portray a common Civil War soldier, it would be best for you to look into other groups that may better fit your needs.

We generally follow a campaign oriented impression, so fitness is important to the mess. We often march several miles at an event while in full pack. This often becomes strenuous, so having the capacity to do so is important.

We, the members of the Pumpkin Patch Mess, are all good friends. We often have gatherings outside of events to keep up with each others lives and, of course, have fun.
